Everyone’s favorite blend, 903, took home another international award this week. The San Diego International Wine Competition awarded Gougér Cellars blend #903 their highest medal, Platinum. Two weeks ago we were awarded an International Silver medal for blend 903 (Syrah, Malbec, Cab Sauv, Cab Franc) at the San Francisco International Wine Awards. There were almost 4,000 entries from 27 countries! We want to be sure as many as possible can savor this blend so there is a limit of one bottle per person.
[ May 28, 2010; 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. May 29, 2010; 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. May 30, 2010; 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. ] This weekend will see the release of our newest wine….Sparkling Rose. Our sparkling is a blend of four of our delightful wines. Winemaker Gary states “My goal was to make a summer sparkling with strawberry and grapefruit notes. This wine is perfect for fun, parties, weddings or a romantic dinner.” The number for this new wine will be 780.4 and wait till you hear the story behind this one…..
Starting Memorial day weekend we will begin our summer hours! You will be able to join us on Sundays for a great way to end your weekend or stock up for a great week. We hope to see you soon!
